L&T-Cloudfiniti, an expert in cloud solutions, has collaborated with QpiAI based in Bengaluru to bring changes to the world of quantum computing. The collaboration aims to move forward with Quantum Computing as a Service (QCAAS), helping to offer quantum solutions that businesses in finance, healthcare, and logistics can scale.
The collaboration links to India’s National Quantum Mission by harnessing QpiAI’s expertise, since Indus, the country’s biggest 25-qubit quantum computer, was developed by them. By planning a move to a 256-qubit chip and a fault-tolerant computer with 100 logical qubits, QpiAI is setting the stage for broader commercial adoption of quantum computers. The collaboration between L&T-Cloudfiniti and QpiAI brings together advanced cloud tools and leading quantum solutions to carry out quantum programs on real-world issues.
Combining AI and quantum computing will be the goal of new research and development collaborations. They work to deal with tough problems in the industry and boost efficiency to get customized results. Both L&T and QpiAI join their knowledge and skills to help bring about the next generation of technology.
Seema Ambastha, Chief Executive of L&T-Cloudfiniti, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “Partnering with QpiAI allows us to harness quantum computing workloads globally, using our cloud infrastructure to deploy scalable quantum solutions. We aim to deliver efficient, innovative solutions that transform customer operations across domains.”
Dr. Nagendra Nagaraja, CEO of QpiAI, echoed this sentiment, saying, “This partnership with L&T-Cloudfiniti is a landmark in quantum computing advancement. By uniting our technical expertise with L&T’s leadership, we’re set to deliver groundbreaking solutions under India’s National Quantum Mission, unlocking new possibilities for our customers.”
The collaboration is important for growing quantum computing technologies, making India an important player in world tech, and supporting Asia’s tech-driven progress, as with “Make in India.”
