A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India's Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and Oman's Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology has received approval from the Union Cabinet, which is led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

 

The MoU, inked on December 15 last year, aims to foster collaboration and cooperation in the field of Information Technology (IT). The comprehensive cooperation outlined in the MoU covers a spectrum of activities, including mutual support, sharing of technologies, information exchange, and investments in the IT sector, as per ANI.

 

India and Oman's ties are expected to get stronger as a result of this move, which will encourage bilateral collaboration in both the government-to-government (G2G) and business-to-business (B2B) dimensions. The Memorandum of Understanding is expected to take effect on the date that it is signed, and it will be in effect for a period of three years.
