
Cabinet Nods India-Oman IT cooperation MoU To Boost Tech Collaboration

The MoU, inked on December 15 last year, aims to foster collaboration and cooperation in the field of Information Technology (IT). The comprehensive cooperation outlined in the MoU covers a spectrum of activities, including mutual support, sharing of technologies, information exchange, and investments in the IT sector, as per ANI.
India and Oman's ties are expected to get stronger as a result of this move, which will encourage bilateral collaboration in both the government-to-government (G2G) and business-to-business (B2B) dimensions. The Memorandum of Understanding is expected to take effect on the date that it is signed, and it will be in effect for a period of three years. Its arrangements are intended to work with expanded participation, prompting further developed coordinated effort and the production of business valuable open doors in the IT area.
The two nations are set to use their separate assets to benefit commonly from the powerful field of Data Innovation.
The mandate given to the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) to promote international cooperation in frontier and emerging areas of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) within bilateral and regional frameworks is the foundation of this collaboration. MeitY has been effectively captivating with different nations and multilateral offices to cultivate collaboration in the ICT space.
The MoU with Oman is in accordance with India's more extensive drives like Computerized India, Atmanirbhar Bharat, and Make in India, pointed toward changing the country into a carefully engaged society and information economy.
